Darren Ridge, founder of The Ridge Foundation, was honoured to be a guest and supporter of the 10th Caudwell Children Butterfly Ball in Monaco.

Darren and his wife Maria are enthusiastic supporters of the UK charity, founded by telecoms entrepreneur John Caudwell, which provides practical and emotional support for disabled and neurodivergent children and young people, and their families.

At the ball, held at Monaco’s Hôtel de Paris, the couple successfully bid for several items at auction. Among them was a €30,000 Independence Pledge – effectively a gift that will be used to help a young person with specialist equipment or support. The contributions helped the event reach a final total of more than €1m raised.

Darren said: “Maria and I had a fantastic evening and were delighted to support Caudwell Children – a charity which makes a huge difference in igniting the huge potential of disabled and neurodivergent young people.”
